🐾 Our standard puppies are born and raised inside our home with an abundant amount of attention and affection. They will be well-socialized and desensitized to as many sounds as possible. We live on 4 acres and our puppies will be raised and handled by our 3 children, and exposed to our other dogs, cats, and even our chickens & goats.

🐾 Puppies will have their dewclaws removed and tails docked to show length by our licensed veterinarian. 

​

🐾 From 3-16 days old we will do Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) exercises during this crucial time of puppy development. We will also begin Early Scent Introduction (ESI). We are trying to get a head start on being more adaptable to all situations they will encounter in their lifetime. These early stimulation exercises don't take long to perform but they boost brain development, improve circulation & immune system, stimulate the neurological system, and improve stress responses later in life

🐾 We will start grooming around 3 weeks of age. Grooming is a very important part of a standard poodle's life, we want to get them used to the sound of clippers and blow dryers, as well as enjoy their baths and brushing sessions.

🐾 We will use Badass Breeder puppy aptitude testing on all of our puppies at 7 weeks of age. This will give us a good idea of our puppy's temperament during evaluations, to help place puppy with their new families.

🐾 We do not guarantee color or gender. Since temperament is our top priority.

​

🐾 Around 7 weeks we will start helping new owners choose their puppies based on their testing and traits.  The temperament evaluations will help guide us into placing a puppy that will better suit your family, activities, and lifestyle. We want our puppies to fit your needs and for you and your family to be their forever home.

🐾 Puppies will have their first set of vaccines, wormed, health-checked by our licensed veterinarian, and microchipped before they leave our home. 

​

🐾 All our puppies are AKC registered and will go home with limited registration. Limited registration means they are AKC registered but new owners intend to spay/neuter them at the appropriate age for pet homes only and there are no breeding rights. We can discuss full registration/co-ownership if you plan to show your poodle in confirmation. All puppy registrations (limited or full) will go home with pre-registration and will use our kennel name (Miller Creek) at the beginning of your registration name.  Again, we want to make sure that every one of our babies leaves here and goes to a very happy home and that we abide by AKC's requirements to keep documentation on all of our dogs that we produce. We want the best for them and we want nothing more than to produce excellent poodles that can be enjoyed by your family. 

 

🐾 We want to keep in touch and want you to know that you can call or email us with any questions you may have. You get lifetime support from Miller Creek. We would also love to get updated photos as your puppy grows.

🐾 If there is any reason in the near future that your family feels the need to re-home your puppy, the seller/breeder must be the first to contact. We will help place the puppy in a new home or we will take the puppy back.
